Summary

This study compares two types of eye surgery for people with open-angle glaucoma that is not controlled with medication and who have already had cataract surgery. The goal is to see which surgery lowers eye pressure better and is safer. Fifty adults over 40 will be randomly assigned to receive either slow coagulation cyclophotocoagulation or trabeculectomy with mitomycin C.
