Two-in-One eye surgery: new implant aims to tame glaucoma during cataract removal

NCT ID NCT06848946

Summary

This study is testing if adding a tiny, slow-release drug implant during routine cataract surgery can safely lower eye pressure in people who also have glaucoma or high eye pressure. The implant is designed to release medication over time. Researchers will compare results from patients who get the implant with their cataract surgery to those who get cataract surgery alone.
