Tiny implants tested to fight blinding eye pressure
NCT ID NCT04770324
Summary
This study tested two new permanent eye implants designed to lower internal eye pressure in people with glaucoma. It involved 22 patients whose eye drops weren't working well enough. Doctors placed the small devices during a special surgery to see if they could safely reduce pressure and the need for medication over three years.
