Tiny eye implants battle blinding pressure in major trial

NCT ID NCT06066645

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a slow-release drug implant works better than a drainage device alone for controlling eye pressure in glaucoma. About 230 adults with glaucoma will receive either the combination treatment or just the drainage device, then be followed for one year. The goal is to find a more effective long-term approach to managing this sight-threatening condition.
