New tool tested for tiny eye implant to fight glaucoma

NCT ID NCT07400926

Summary

This study is testing an updated tool used by doctors to place a tiny, long-acting implant in the eye for glaucoma. The implant slowly releases medication to help control high eye pressure. Researchers will observe 30 adult patients with open-angle glaucoma to see how well the new tool works for correctly placing the implant.
