New eye drop shows promise for glaucoma in early trial
NCT ID NCT06144918
Summary
This study tested a new eye drop called SBI-100 to see if it could safely lower high pressure inside the eye, which is a key factor in glaucoma. 56 adults with glaucoma or high eye pressure were randomly assigned to use one of two strengths of the eye drop or a placebo drop twice a day for two weeks. Researchers measured the change in eye pressure and checked for side effects to see if the new treatment worked and was safe.
