New surgical implant tested for stubborn glaucoma
NCT ID NCT05557058
Summary
This early study is testing a new surgical implant designed to help control eye pressure in people with a common type of glaucoma when eye drop medications are not enough. It is specifically for patients where standard glaucoma surgery is more likely to fail because of scarring. The study will enroll about 30 adults to see if the implant is safe and can effectively lower eye pressure for at least six months.
