New glaucoma device goes Head-to-Head in cataract surgery trial

Summary
This study is testing whether a new device called ELIOS works as well as an existing device to lower eye pressure in people with glaucoma who are having cataract surgery. Researchers will compare how much each device reduces eye pressure one year after surgery and whether patients need fewer glaucoma medications. The trial needs 194 adults with mild to moderate open-angle glaucoma who need cataract removal.
