New glasses aim to put the brakes on Kids' rapidly worsening eyesight

NCT ID NCT05888805

Summary

This study is testing whether two types of special spectacle lenses can slow down the progression of nearsightedness in children whose vision is getting worse quickly. About 59 children with fast-progressing myopia will wear the test glasses for four years. Researchers will regularly check their vision and eye length to see if the lenses help control the condition.
