New hope for adult lazy eye: can simple glasses rewire the brain?
NCT ID NCT05394987
Summary
This study is testing whether getting the right prescription glasses can improve vision in adults with amblyopia, often called 'lazy eye'. It will enroll 36 adults aged 18-39 to see if wearing corrected glasses leads to better eyesight and other visual functions. The goal is to understand if the adult brain can still adapt and improve vision with proper optical correction.
