Summary

This study tests a device called CLAAS that is placed in the heart to close off a small pouch (the left atrial appendage) in people with atrial fibrillation. The goal is to reduce the risk of stroke without needing lifelong blood thinners. The study involves 80 participants and uses a special ultrasound technique to guide the procedure. Researchers will check if the device safely and effectively seals the pouch and prevents complications.
