New drug for duchenne under Real-World watch: safety first

Summary

This study follows about 300 people with Duchenne muscular dystrophy who are taking the drug givinostat as part of their regular care. Researchers will track side effects like low platelet counts and bleeding, as well as how well the drug works over up to 5 years. The goal is to understand the drug's real-world safety and benefits, not to cure the disease.
