Scientists probe gut Hormone's role in Post-Meal dizziness
NCT ID NCT06934473
Summary
This study aims to understand how a natural hormone called GIP, released from the gut after eating, affects blood pressure and dizziness in healthy people. Sixteen healthy adults will eat a meal and receive different infusions (the hormone, a blocker, or a placebo) while their blood pressure is monitored on a tilting table. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how our bodies regulate blood pressure after meals.
