Ginkgo biloba tablets tested as brain booster after stroke

Summary
This study tests whether adding ginkgo biloba tablets to standard stroke care can improve memory and thinking in people aged 55 and older who recently had an ischemic stroke. About 400 participants will either take the ginkgo supplement or receive usual care alone for 12 months. Researchers will track changes in cognitive tests and any side effects.
