Rubber picks vs. tiny brushes: the battle for cleaner gums

NCT ID NCT07150910

Summary

This study compared two common tools for cleaning between teeth in people with mild gum inflammation (gingivitis). Forty young, healthy adults without prior experience used a small interdental brush on one side of their mouth and a rubber-tipped pick on the other side for two weeks. Researchers measured plaque and gum bleeding to see which tool worked better and asked participants which one they preferred.
