Summary
This study aimed to better understand how the immune system works in people with giant cell arteritis (Horton's disease), a type of blood vessel inflammation. Researchers compared blood samples from 41 patients with the disease to samples from healthy volunteers. They analyzed specific immune cells to see if they function differently, which could help develop more targeted treatments in the future.
