Can your gut health pill really work? massive study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT06376695
Summary
This study tested whether common health and wellness products sold directly to consumers can improve stomach and digestion issues. Over 4,600 adults in the U.S. who wanted better bowel habits or less bloating and pain took either an active product or a placebo for several weeks, without knowing which one they received. Researchers measured changes in symptoms like abdominal pain, gas, constipation, and diarrhea, as well as related quality of life and mood.
