First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026

Summary

This study looks at three common treatments for acid reflux (GERD) in babies in the NICU: letting the baby outgrow it naturally, using acid-reducing medicine (PPI), or adding rice to their formula. The goal is to see which approach helps babies feed better and have fewer symptoms like vomiting or coughing. About 369 infants will take part over four weeks.
