Hunting for hidden genetic clues in newborn brain injuries
NCT ID NCT07165938
Summary
This research study aims to understand if genetic factors contribute to neonatal encephalopathy, a brain disorder in newborns that can affect lifelong health. Researchers will analyze DNA from up to 300 children under 6 years old with this condition and their parents to look for genetic patterns. The goal is to improve diagnosis and explain why symptoms and outcomes vary so much between children.
