Portuguese study maps genetic links in stomach cancer

NCT ID NCT07387237

Summary

This study looked back at genetic test results from 51 adults in Portugal who had stomach cancer. Researchers analyzed their DNA using panels of 15 or 30 genes to see if they carried inherited changes linked to the disease. The goal was to gather knowledge about genetic patterns to help guide future patient care and family screening, not to provide a new treatment.
