Summary

This study aims to find genetic reasons why some women lose ovarian function before age 40, a condition called premature ovarian insufficiency. Researchers will compare DNA from 100 women with the condition and 100 healthy women using whole exome sequencing. No drugs or treatments are given—this is purely a genetic investigation.
