Summary
This study looks at the genes of 500 cancer patients to find out why some develop a rare but life-threatening heart inflammation (myocarditis) from immune checkpoint inhibitors. Researchers will compare the DNA of 100 patients who had this side effect with 400 who did not. The goal is to identify genetic markers that could help predict and prevent this serious complication.
