Your DNA could decide if your tooth can be saved
NCT ID NCT07130214
Summary
This study aims to understand if a person's genetic makeup influences the success of a dental procedure called vital pulp therapy, which tries to save a tooth with an inflamed nerve. Researchers will collect saliva samples from 96 patients to analyze their DNA and then check how well their treated teeth heal over a 12-month period. The goal is to see if specific genetic differences can predict whether this tooth-saving treatment will work long-term.
