First gene therapy tested for serious kidney disease

NCT ID NCT07182227

Summary

This is the first study in humans to test a new gene therapy called PS-002 for adults with IgA nephropathy, a serious kidney disease. The main goal is to see if the treatment is safe and well-tolerated, while also checking for early signs that it might help control the disease. The study will enroll 32 adults whose disease is at high risk of getting worse despite current standard treatments.
