Gene injection aims to restore hearing in deaf children
NCT ID NCT07288580
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new gene therapy injection called EHT102 in children with profound hearing loss caused by specific mutations in the OTOF gene. Up to 30 children will receive a single injection into one ear to see if it is safe and if it can improve their hearing. The study will carefully monitor participants for side effects and measure changes in their hearing ability over time.
