Gene therapy could cure deafness in kids

Summary
This study tests a new gene therapy called EHT102 for children born deaf due to a specific genetic mutation (OTOF). Up to 30 kids will receive a single injection in one ear to see if it safely restores hearing. The goal is to help them hear sounds at normal levels without needing lifelong treatment.
