Gene therapy could restore hearing in deaf children

Summary

This study tests a new gene therapy called EHT102 for children born with hearing loss due to a specific genetic mutation (OTOF). Up to 30 children will receive a single injection in one ear to see if it safely improves hearing. The goal is to help these children hear sounds at normal levels.
