Gene therapy patients monitored for 15 years in safety study

Summary

This study follows up with adults who previously received gene therapy as part of a National Cancer Institute study. Researchers will contact participants yearly for up to 15 years to check for any long-term side effects, such as new cancers or blood disorders. No new treatments are given; the goal is to collect safety data for the FDA. About 1,000 people will take part.
