This study aims to understand what patients and families think and need to know when considering gene therapy for rare diseases like sickle cell. Researchers will interview patients, parents, and healthcare workers about their experiences and concerns. Using what they learn, the team will create an online platform with educational materials and tools to help families make informed treatment decisions.
