Summary
This study aimed to understand if a specific gene variation influences a person's risk of developing Crohn's disease and how well they might respond to the medication ustekinumab. Researchers compared genetic data from 296 Crohn's patients to 532 healthy individuals. The goal was to gather knowledge that could one day help doctors better predict which treatments will work best for individual patients.
