Scientists hunt for hidden genes behind rare bone tumors

NCT ID NCT06749366

Summary

This study aims to discover the genetic causes of rare disorders like Ollier disease and Maffucci syndrome, which cause cartilage tumors and blood vessel problems. Researchers will enroll up to 100 participants for a 5-day visit involving scans and genetic testing to build a detailed picture of these conditions. The goal is to understand the biology of these disorders to help guide future research, not to provide direct treatment.
