Summary
This study aims to understand how gender-affirming medical care affects mental health, work life, and overall well-being over several years. Researchers will follow 1,000 adults in Sweden who are seeking this care, comparing their outcomes to a matched control group. The goal is to gather evidence about long-term benefits and challenges to improve future healthcare and support.
