Gel showdown: can new treatments save failing dental implants?
NCT ID NCT06083246
Summary
This study tested two different gels to help control infection and inflammation around dental implants, a condition called peri-implantitis. Forty patients with this condition received a professional cleaning and were randomly assigned to have either Chlosite gel or Hybenix gel applied to the infected area. Researchers measured signs like bleeding, swelling, and bone loss over 9 months to see which gel worked better.
