New gel tested to speed healing of stubborn diabetic wounds
NCT ID NCT06608303
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special gel to standard wound care could help diabetic wounds heal better. The gel, called Jinfuning, is designed to stimulate the body's natural healing cells. Forty adults with diabetic foot ulcers in the granulation phase were randomly assigned to receive either the gel plus standard care or standard care alone for two weeks. Researchers measured changes in wound size and healing rates to see if the gel was effective and safe.
