Summary

This study looked back at medical records to see if a gel containing amitriptyline could help people with burning mouth syndrome. Thirty patients applied the gel inside their mouth for several weeks to try to reduce their chronic pain. Researchers measured their pain levels before and after treatment to check for improvement and any side effects.
