Summary

This study looks at whether women who had gestational diabetes (GDM) during pregnancy have lasting changes in brain blood flow and blood vessel function. Researchers will use ultrasound to measure brain blood flow and a small skin test to check blood vessel health. The goal is to understand why women with a history of GDM have a higher risk of stroke and dementia later in life.
