New shot in the eye aims to halt leading cause of blindness

NCT ID NCT07406438

Summary

This is an early-stage study testing a new medication called GB10, which is injected into the eye. It aims to see if GB10 is safe and can help control 'wet' age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a major cause of vision loss. The study will test different doses in up to 48 people who have this condition, to find the best balance of safety and effectiveness.
