Does feeding tube size matter for Kids' comfort?

NCT ID NCT07300865

Summary

This study aims to find out if using a slightly thinner feeding tube (12Fr) causes fewer problems for children than a standard thicker tube (14Fr). Researchers will follow 200 children for three months after their tube is placed, tracking common issues like skin irritation, infection, pain, and leaks. The goal is to provide clearer guidance to doctors on which tube size leads to better outcomes and fewer complications for young patients.
