NCT ID NCT07317726
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at nearly 94,000 people with rare gastrointestinal carcinoid tumors to see if better detection over the past 20 years has led to finding these tumors at earlier stages. Researchers used a large cancer database to track changes in how advanced the tumors were at diagnosis from 2000 to 2022. The goal was to understand if early detection is improving survival rates for this rare cancer.
