NCT ID NCT07352202
First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study watches how fast the stomach empties in 60 intensive care patients who are on breathing machines and receiving liquid food through a tube. Doctors will use a bedside ultrasound to measure stomach volume at different times after feeding. The goal is to see if different types of liquid food change how the stomach works, which may help guide safer feeding in the future.
