First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether the drug pyrvinium can reverse early changes in the stomach lining that may lead to cancer. About 32 adults with gastric intestinal metaplasia and high-risk features will receive either pyrvinium or a placebo. The goal is to see if the drug reduces precancerous cells and lowers cancer risk.
