Summary

This study looks at whether people taking tirzepatide (a drug for obesity and diabetes) still have food or liquid in their stomach after the recommended fasting times. Using a simple ultrasound, researchers will compare tirzepatide users to non-users. The goal is to understand if these users face a higher risk of stomach contents entering the lungs during anesthesia, a serious complication. About 30 adults will participate.
