First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether it's safe to avoid placing drainage tubes in the belly after laparoscopic surgery for stomach cancer. About 454 adults with early to advanced stomach cancer will be randomly assigned to get either the standard recovery plan with drains or a streamlined plan without drains. The goal is to see if skipping drains leads to fewer complications and a smoother recovery.
