NCT ID NCT06597227

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study compares two surgeries—partial versus total stomach removal—for people with advanced upper gastric cancer who first received chemotherapy (SOX) plus an immunotherapy drug (anti-PD-1). The goal is to see which surgery leads to longer survival without cancer returning. About 404 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgeries, and researchers will track cancer recurrence, survival, and side effects over three years.
