New combo therapy tested for tough stomach cancers

NCT ID NCT07320586

Summary

This study is testing whether combining two drugs, carilizumab and albumin paclitaxel, can help control advanced stomach cancer in patients whose first treatment has stopped working. It will include 40 adults whose cancer progressed after initial chemotherapy, with or without immunotherapy. The main goal is to see how well the combination shrinks tumors and controls the disease, while also monitoring side effects and how long patients live without their cancer getting worse.
