Blood test could predict stomach cancer surgery risks before operation
NCT ID NCT06686966
Summary
This study aimed to create a tool that uses routine pre-surgery blood tests and patient information to predict which stomach cancer patients might face complications after surgery or have poorer long-term survival. Researchers analyzed data from 3,400 patients across multiple hospitals to develop and test this prediction model. The goal is to help doctors better assess individual patient risks before surgery to guide treatment decisions.
