First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests two methods to remove leftover gas from the belly after gallbladder removal surgery. The goal is to see which method causes less shoulder and belly pain afterward. About 62 adults having planned gallbladder surgery will take part. One method uses a suction device to actively pull out the gas, while the other gently presses on the belly to push it out.
