First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This early study tests whether a home-based device that delivers 40 Hz light-and-sound stimulation is safe and feasible for people with schizophrenia. Researchers want to see if it can improve thinking, memory, and other symptoms that current medicines often miss. Twenty participants will receive one hour of stimulation and undergo brain scans and cognitive tests.
