Summary
This study tested a new psychological treatment for people struggling to control their video gaming. It involved 68 participants aged 13 and older who were seeking help for gaming problems. The treatment combined cognitive behavioral therapy and family therapy, delivered individually or with family members, to reduce gaming disorder symptoms and improve mental wellbeing and daily life.
