Turning tai chi into a game to help kids with autism

NCT ID NCT07322952

Summary

This study is testing whether making Tai Chi exercises into a game helps children with autism improve their thinking skills more than regular Tai Chi or usual activities. About 200 children, aged 8 to 15, will be randomly placed into one of three groups for a year: a gamified Tai Chi group, a traditional Tai Chi group, or a group continuing their usual routines. Researchers will measure changes in memory, focus, flexibility in thinking, social skills, and daily living abilities.
